You know that kind like fast food chain .. the famous fast food chain we all love . I am talking about chick fil a chicken sandwich . During the lockdown , obviously we weren&#8217;t able to go out and get our favorite chicken sandwich . Which was a blessing in a way because since then  i haven&#8217;t been eating out at all . We ordered for the first time just couple of months ago but we haven&#8217;t been eating any fast food stuff . <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So back during lockdown , i was busy baking and cooking , making the sandwich buns which led me to make my own chick fil a copycat sandwich . I don&#8217;t use chicken breast here , i tried but it didn&#8217;t taste as good , probably because it has no fat like chicken thighs . The spices i use was pretty basic pantry staple , nothing weird . The good thing about this though  , the chicken is not deep fried , no flour involved . Just very little olive oil and spices mix . When you&#8217;re ready , just dump all the chicken in the bowl , and mix it by hand until all the pieces are pretty much covered with spices . Place the chicken on a foil lined cookie sheet , preheat oven to 400 F , bake for 35-40 minutes . <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients for the sauce : <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1\/4 cup light mayo ( i used duke or Hellman&#8217;s brand ) <\/li><li>1 tbsp yellow mustard <\/li><li>2 tsp Dijon mustard<\/li><li>2 Tbsp baby ray hickory BBQ sauce <\/li><li>2 Tbsp honey <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Mix all ingredients together , whisk well . Chill at least an hour . <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Assemble your sandwich :<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Use hamburger buns , spread little bit of the sauce , add spinach , chicken thighs , slice tomatoes , pickles and pepper jack cheese if you like . Picture below doesn&#8217;t have cheese . I used just spinach , chicken and grape tomatoes .
