I guess it&#8217;s a trend in every bakery in the city . Although i have never heard about this before . I was obviously very bored and was looking for new things to try . So i arrived at Cruffins . I like croissant , who doesn&#8217;t ? And i don&#8217;t mind muffins either .. LOL . So it only makes a perfect sense that i gave this a try ! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is easy and not as complicated as old fashion croissant , that required so many folds . This one as long as you know how to make bread and can spread butter .. you&#8217;re good LOL . There is no folds involved . <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/www.oliviaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/20200812_200139-01-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9250\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.oliviaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/20200812_200139-01-1024x768.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.oliviaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/20200812_200139-01-300x225.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.oliviaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/20200812_200139-01-768x576.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.oliviaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/20200812_200139-01-1536x1152.jpeg 1536w, https:\/\/www.oliviaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/20200812_200139-01-2048x1536.jpeg 2048w, https:\/\/www.oliviaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/20200812_200139-01-1140x855.jpeg 1140w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients : <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>300 grams all purpose flour <\/li><li>50 grams sugar <\/li><li>50 grams melted butter <\/li><li>6 grams yeast <\/li><li>140 grams luke warm water and 1 tbsp sugar <\/li><li>1\/2 tsp kosher salt <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Directions : <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In a bowl,  mix water and sugar and yeast , let it sit to proof , within 5 minutes it should be foamy . <\/li><li>In a mixing bowl , sift the flour , sugar , add salt , butter and the yeast mixture . <\/li><li>Using the dough hook , knead about 5-7 minutes until gluten is developed . Check window pane stage for doneness . <\/li><li>Place in a greased bowl , proof for 75 minutes . <\/li><li>This will not necessarily double in size but it grow just a little bit .<\/li><li>When it&#8217;s ready , you&#8217;ll need about 1 stick of room temp unsalted butter to spread into the dough . <\/li><li>Divide the dough into 6 balls , let it sit for 10 minutes . <\/li><li>After 10 minutes , roll out the dough into long strip , <\/li><li>Spread the butter generously , roll them like rolling sushi . <\/li><li>Lengthen the rolls , and place it on cookie sheet . Do the same for every single ball . <\/li><li>Place the cookie sheet in the freezer for 15 minutes . <\/li><li>Take it out , and cut in half , then roll into half bun . Place it into well buttered muffin pans . Proof for another 75 minutes . <\/li><li>Bake at 400 F , for 10 minutes , then cover with foil , bake another 10 minutes . Open the oven door , let it sit in the oven still for 10 minutes .
