I remember usually after school , coming home and i asked her ,  what&#8217;s for lunch , and when she told me it&#8217;s &#8221; baikut sayur asin &#8221; i was  so happy , it&#8217;s my favourite meal !! Eventually after i got married ,  for a while i was having problems finding the vegetables that goes in  this soup . It&#8217;s sour mustard , i think it&#8217;s like pickled mustard ( not  too sure about this part ) , but you cannot use mustard only . It has to  be sour mustard , mustard leaves that has very strong sour taste .I  remember my mom used to tell me that i have to wash the sour mustard  couple times , or else my soup would be way too sour .<\/p>\n<p>This is how sour mustard looks like<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oliviaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/Sour-Mustard-Packaging.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-895\" title=\"Sour Mustard Packaging\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oliviaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/Sour-Mustard-Packaging-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Anyway , you need :<\/p>\n<p>3 lbs of pork ribs<\/p>\n<p>2 packages of sour mustard , wash couple of times , wring it good before chopping them<\/p>\n<p>about 6-8 cloves of garlic , minced<\/p>\n<p>water , enough to submerge it<\/p>\n<p>salt , pepper and pinch of sugar<\/p>\n<p>Cook them all together , bring to boil , then cook on low for 1 to 1.5 hours or until the meat is very tender .<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When i was younger this was my favourite meal , it&#8217;s some kind of soup .
