Everything was on season , tomatoes was cheap , basil was grown in my own garden , the taste was so delicious , and not to mention it was so easy to make . Although i make my own french bread , but if you&#8217;re short in time , just grab the baquette from the store and you&#8217;ll have these snack \/ appetizers in minutes !<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oliviaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/bruschetta.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-796\" title=\"bruschetta\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oliviaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/bruschetta-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> 6 roma (plum) tomatoes, chopped<\/li>\n<li> 3 cloves minced garlic<\/li>\n<li> 1\/4 cup olive oil<\/li>\n<li> 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar<\/li>\n<li> 1\/4 cup fresh basil, stems removed<\/li>\n<li> 1\/4 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li> 1\/4 teaspoon ground black pepper<\/li>\n<li> 1 French baguette<\/li>\n<li> 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li> Preheat the oven on broiler setting.<\/li>\n<li> In a large bowl, combine the roma tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, vinegar, basil, salt, and pepper.  Allow the mixture to sit for 10 minutes.<\/li>\n<li> Cut the baguette into 3\/4-inch slices. On a baking  sheet, arrange the baguette slices in a single layer. Broil for 1 to 2  minutes, until slightly brown.<\/li>\n<li> Divide the tomato mixture evenly over the baguette slices.
