That’s what i did earlier , and they turned out really good . Just some basic sweet bread , and then using Nutella for the filling . It was delicious .

The good thing about the basic sweet bread dough , you can use it for a lot of things , for this , or any other fillings , dinner rolls , etc . So here it goes ..

Sweet Bread Dough :

1 cup of milk

1/3 cup of sugar

6 tbsp. of unsalted butter

1 tbsp. of dry yeast

2 eggs

3 1/2 – 4 cups of bread flour

extra butter to cover the bowl

1. In a small pot , heat the milk , sugar and butter , until butter melted and milk is about 110 F . Then add the yeast , let it proof about 10 minutes , then add the beaten eggs . . Mix well with whisk .

2. In a large bowl, place the flour and salt and make a well , then pour the yeast milk mixture , and then beat until the dough is heavy enough to be handled by the mixer / spoon . Then use your hand to knead it , add flour little at a time until it’s elastic and not too sticky .Knead for 10 minutes , then let it sit for an hour to double in size .

3. Then divide the dough into 2 large balls , and cover 1 of them , while working on the other one . Divide the 1 big ball into 8 or even 10 small balls , and start working with them ,shape however you want it , add nutella as the fillings and place them in a parchment paper cookie sheet , bake at 325F for about 12-15 minutes

.

Since i am not using all the dough for this , i am planning to save it to make regular sweet bread , without any filling .
