Well , it never went that way , although i was so distracted earlier while i was making the french butter cream icing , i turned the sugar into caramel .. LOL , yes i had to redo it , wasted 2 eggs and sugar !! So my chocolate cupcakes , ended up with beautiful orange icing from yellow and red gel coloring that i used , and why did i choose orange ? Because my son loves the color of orange , and then i thought hmm .. why not playing around with added pumpkins there .. so there i was .. making the pumpkins using fondant . Not my favourite thing to do , but heck i was in the mood for it ..<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oliviaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/autumn-cupcakes.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-1173\" title=\"autumn cupcakes\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oliviaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/autumn-cupcakes-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oliviaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/autumn-pumpkin-cupcake2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-1171\" title=\"autumn pumpkin cupcake2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oliviaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/autumn-pumpkin-cupcake2-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oliviaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/autumn-cupcakes1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-1174\" title=\"autumn cupcakes1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oliviaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/autumn-cupcakes1-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For the cupcakes :<\/p>\n<p>1 3\/4 cup of all purpose flour<\/p>\n<p>2 cups of sugar<\/p>\n<p>3\/4 cup of cocoa powder<\/p>\n<p>2 tsp. baking soda<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp.baking powder<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp.salt<\/p>\n<p>2 eggs<\/p>\n<p>1 cup of strong coffee<\/p>\n<p>1 cup of buttermilk<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp.vanilla extract<\/p>\n<p>1 capfull of kahlua<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup of veggie oil<\/p>\n<p>1. Preheat oven 350 F , in a large mixing bowl , mix together the dry ingredients , make a well in the center and add the wet ingredients , make sure\u00a0 your coffee is cool enough before adding into the batter . Mix medium speed for 2 minutes .
